Paras Savla is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), with over two and half decades of experience in taxation, valuation, and corporate advisory. He also holds qualifications as a Registered Valuer and Insolvency Resolution Professional (IBBI), Business and Finance Professional (ICAEW), Diploma in Information Systems Audit (ICAI), and Certified Fraud Examiner (ACFE, USA).

He had a stint with a Big Four accounting firm in Transaction Tax and is currently a Partner at KPB & Associates, Chartered Accountants. Over the years, he has advised companies on domestic and international taxation, investment structuring, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, valuations, insolvency resolution, and corporate finance, working closely with India’s evolving regulatory framework. He has also advised several not-for-profit organisations on regulatory and tax matters.

Paras is a recognised voice in the profession – regularly quoted in publications such as the Economic Times, Mint, and MoneyControl, and a contributor to journals and conferences on tax, corporate law, and valuation. He has held leadership roles with several professional bodies, including President of The Chamber of Tax Consultants (2014-15) and the CVO Chartered & Cost Accountants Association (2013-14), and currently serves as a Governing Council Member of the Indo-BeNeLux Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

His financial expertise, regulatory knowledge, and independent, objective perspective make him a valuable contributor to the Board’s oversight and governance responsibilities. He serving on multiple boards reflects a steady commitment to stakeholder interests, transparency, and ethical oversight – qualities that underpin the independence.
